Life on the Earth can sometimes be very complicated. Sometimes we think we are alone in our problems. Sometime we even withdraw. Then the problems become even more difficult. We need to watch out for one another, to care for one another, to pray together, to encourage one another; and we need to support one another. Behaving in this manner will bring the circle together. My mom has been financially caring the burden in my defense. She is 71 years old and keeps telling me she has to do this because it is right and justice has not been served.

Gary Bair was selected as a 2007 Maryland Super Lawyer and honored as a 2007 Washington, D.C. Area Super Lawyer in the field of criminal defense. This places him in the top five percent of lawyers both in the State of Maryland and in the D.C. metropolitan area. With Mr. Bair at the helm, and three outstanding associates working with him, the work of Bennett & Bair will continue to exceed the needs and expectations of our clients and their families.
The best legal firm in the Washington DC area. This firm is well versed in all facets of criminal law. They have fought hard for me and my cause.
The firm continues to represent hundreds of clients in the state and federal courts. We are currently handling trials, direct appeals, motions for reconsideration of sentence, post conviction petitions, motions to reopen post conviction, petitions for coram nobis relief, and parole and commutation matters throughout the State of Maryland. In addition, numerous appeals are pending in the Court of Special Appeals, the Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. On June 19, 2008, the Court of Appeals of Maryland granted two of Mr. Bair’s certiorari petitions on the same day, a highly unusual occurrence. (one of these cetiorari petitions referred to was mine.)
On October 31, 2008 four appellate arguments took place on behalf of firm clients this past fall: Ms. Kamins argued on behalf of Arthur White Jr and Wayne Stockstill; Mr. Bair argued the cases for Darryl King and Bryan Fultz. Hopefully, we will be reporting on successes in those cases in our next firm letter.
